This zine will be focusing on punk rock. I will be talking about hardcore/punk rock from 77 to 2000. I'll be covering all areas. Punk Rock from Europe and Punk Rock from America. This will also be a zine too. I'm going to be doing interviews in th future as well as record reviews.
Me and my good pal Fred Landeen(The Punk Rock Barber) started Absolutely Nuthin in 1987 as a small free fanzine. We had one issue. I have always wanted to continue so this is my chance. The First issue had interviews with Desecratoin(hardcore from Arizona), Hellcows(Weirdo noise from Portland), Belthesars Gerards Kommando(BGK, from Holland), and Death Midget(Dorkrock from Portland). This was a small zine that only had interviews and that was it. Hey I was only 17 what did I know? It was the late 80's everyone was putting out comps or zines or starting hardcore bands, whatever. This is the year 2000. The bands in the 80's played faster, harder and with more anger than a lot of the lame ass POP CRAP that comes out today. The scene in Europe around 84-88 was incredible. Some of the best bands came from Europe that can be classified as Hardcore. America had it's own scene but I don't think people were into it as much as the people in Europe were. Anyways this is just a tribute zine to hardcore , punk, and rock and roll. Don't limit your self to just 82 UK punk or just US punk. There is a lot more out there than that. Your missing out on some killer bands!! This zine will be dedicated to punk rock/rock and roll underground. If you feel like contributing please inform me at the e mail address listed below.
